Influenza (Flu) Vaccine

Influenza is a disease of the respiratory tract, is the most common vaccine-preventable disease in Australia. Although it can be a mild disease, it can also cause very serious illness in otherwise healthy peopleIt affects people of all ages. The Influnza Vaccine is an annual vaccination. All people greater than 6 months of age are recommended to receive annual influenza vaccine


Tooradin Pharmacy is able to vacinate people from the ages of 10 and over.


A number of different influenza vaccines are available, the appropriate vaccine will be detremined at time of consultations.

Some Victorians are able to access subsidised vaccines as part of the the National Immunisation Program, talk to your pharmacist to see if you qualify.
